How long does paint correction last?
There are lots of factors that will determine if your paint will get scratched really fast again. The first factor is how often do you drive your vehicle? Is it a daily driver? is your vehicle garage kept? How often do you wash it? Are you getting a ceramic coating to protect the work that was done to your car with all that paint correction or are you just settling for the wax? So as you can see there are lots of factors that can change the amount of time that your car will remain swirl and scratch free. if you don’t protect the paint correction that was done to your vehicle with a ceramic coating and take it to a tunnel wash( we do not recommend tunnel washes as they scratch your cars paint) you can expect your vehicle to need a full paint correction again in a year.

how do I know if a scratch is too deep and can’t be removed by machine polishing?
One way to know if a scratch is too deep and won’t be removed by polishing is to go over the scratch with your nail. If your nail catches the scratch that means there is paint missing and is no longer a detailing issue that is a body shop issue.
Unfortunately some scratches are too deep in the clearcoat and in order to get rid of them you might have to take your vehicle to a Body shop.
